James J. Herb
Senior Vice President, Human Resources

James J. Herb joined the company as Senior Vice President, Human Resources in February 2005 and is responsible for the strategic management of Human Resources for CMGI and its subsidiary, ModusLink Corporation, the leading global provider of supply chain management services and solutions.
   
Jim has over thirty years of Human Resources experience. During his tenure at his previous employer, RR Donnelley, Jim held human resources leadership positions in corporate, international, business unit, and manufacturing plant operations. His last position prior to joining CMGI was Vice President, Corporate Human Resources with responsibility for Donnelley’s corporate office, global employee relations, and several business units.

Jim is an innovative senior human resources executive with extensive global experience providing leadership in all areas of human resources. He has a proven record of adding value during major corporate transitions including startups, mergers, acquisitions, turnarounds, and restructurings.  Since joining the company, Jim has focused on standardizing and improving HR processes, talent management, and compensation systems.

Jim has been involved with numerous community and educational organizations during his career and holds a BS in Industrial Relations from Rider University, Lawrenceville, NJ.
