ModusLink Global Solutions to provide insight on sustainable supply chain processes at Sustainable Packaging Coalition Spring Meeting
WALTHAM, Mass. — March 23, 2009 — ModusLink Global Solutions™, Inc. (NASDAQ:MLNK), a leader in global supply chain business process management, will be speaking at the Sustainable Packaging Collation (SPC) Spring Meeting 2009. Sean Sabre, regional supply chain manager, Americas, will speak on a panel entitled “Moving Forward in Economic Uncertainty,” which will feature a discussion with executives from REI, Dell, McDonalds and Sam’s Club. The session will focus on how to strengthen commitment to sustainability despite economic turmoil.
With the global economy in recession, companies are retooling their business models to adapt to changing market conditions. Sabre has more than 10 years of diverse supply chain and packaging experience in warehousing, transportation, procurement and design. In his current role, he manages a team of packaging procurement and packaging engineering professionals that source and design packaging solutions for ModusLink’s clients, including some of the world’s largest technology and consumer electronics brands.
