ModusLink bestowed with the 2008 Annual Award from Irish Hungarian Business Association

Company recognized for its outstanding contribution to furthering business relations between the two nations

WALTHAM, Mass. — September 11, 2008 — ModusLink® Corporation, a subsidiary of CMGI®, Inc. (NASDAQ: CMGI) and leading provider of global supply chain management solutions, was recently bestowed with the 2008 Annual Irish Hungarian Business Association (IHBA) Award for its contribution to Irish-Hungarian business relations.  The company was chosen for its Hungarian operations and the execution by its Irish management team.  An awards luncheon was held at Trinity College in Dublin.

The IHBA is a voluntary organization aimed at promoting two-way business links between Ireland and Hungary.  The IHBA has been involved with annual trade missions and study trips to Hungary as well as organizing a number of inward trade missions for Hungarian companies coming to Ireland.  Many Irish companies have explored, and in many cases, succeeded in establishing businesses in Hungary.

Eoin Ryan, MEP for Dublin, was the Guest of Honor and speaker at the award luncheon.  In the European Parliament, he is a member of both the Development Committee and that of Economic and Monetary Affairs.  His main priorities are creating and protecting jobs, fighting drugs, developing Ireland's economic potential and overseeing development aid.
