ModusLink Expands its Utah Operations
Waltham, Mass. August 09, 2005 - ModusLink Corporation, a subsidiary of CMGI, Inc. (Nasdaq: CMGI), today announced it has expanded its Utah operations. In addition to its existing solution center in Lindon, Utah, the Company has opened a new facility in West Valley, Utah. The expansion was driven by an increased demand for ModusLink's supply chain solutions within the technology market.

The new facility adds 174,624 square feet of operational space and capacity to the current global footprint. Employing lean manufacturing techniques, the center was designed and equipped with highly skilled personnel, equipment, systems and business processes to implement the most efficient and cost effective supply chain solutions. The facility delivers a broad range of forward supply chain services, including supply chain design and consulting, just-in-time materials planning and procurement, inventory management, assembly and packaging, and fulfillment either to clients' distribution centers, retail partners and end-users, as well as handling the reverse supply chain including return management, product repair, asset management and disposition, and spares and parts management and fulfillment.
When fully operational, the West Valley, Utah solution center is expected to employ up to 400 permanent and temporary employees. The facility is located at 4640 South 5400 West, West Valley, UT.
